I really don’t want to show off but I started a Substack on Friday and already have four subscribers. This kind of grandstanding is in poor taste, I know. (And one of those subscribers is – genuinely – me.)
Regardless, Pitching the World will keep going. How can it not? It’s a juggernaut. There are some pitches that, although yet to be written and sent, will get posted on here sometime soonish. I’ll keep on pitching, always, pitching’s fantastic. But Pitching the World, it seems, was never really about pitching, it was more about my unspooling mental health.
So my new venture is called Super Duper Mental Health. (I know. It’s a stupid name. But I explain it in the About section so it’s fine.)
You can read all about it here: https://superdupermentalhealth.substack.com/
It’s all about getting my mental health unspooled, or respooled, or whatever the good thing is. My first post was nicked from here. My second post, just live minutes ago, was all about asking a question on Reddit and how it feels to have 207,000 views on your words in less than a day. It’s quite possible the third post will be about becoming a leg model.
Thanks, as ever, for following on here and, if you do, over there. What I’d really like to do is reach into my subscribers here, like a human crane, scoop up all my readers, and deposit them over there. But I know it doesn’t really work like that. I know it’s only the very bravest, the coolest, the absolute sexiest of you who will have the guts to sign up to Super Duper Mental Health.
To be continued.
